Paul Tockert

Paul Tockert (born 1978) is Executive Vice-President of Metallurgy at SMS group, while simultaneously serving as Technical Director at Paul Wurth S.A., Luxembourg.

With over 20 years of experience at Paul Wurth and SMS group, Paul Tockert has held a range of positions from engineering roles to executive management. He started his career at Paul Wurth as a Research & Development Engineer before moving up to leadership positions such as Head of Mechanical Engineering/R&D Mechanics and Head of Charging Technology & Mechanics. In 2019, Paul Tockert was appointed Vice-president for General Engineering at Paul Wurth. From 2021 until 2024, he served as Executive Vice-President Implementation, before being appointed to Executive Vice-President Metallurgy and to Technical Director at Paul Wurth S.A. 

Paul Tockert holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liège, Belgium. He has two children and lives in Luxembourg.
